We are a group of floral creatives and producers who meet with you for a design(s) meeting and provide on-site installation, delivery, and removal if needed. About Soulflower Design Studio
With over 20 years in the event industry, Emily and Daniel bring creativity, heart, and dedication to every client they encounter in their wedding and event floral business.
Our creativity is rooted in a conscious awareness of our interconnected community, fantastic team members, and precious environment. We have developed our thoughtful, modern style in connection with the amazing growers, local farmers, and purveyors central to our designs.
We approach each project with enthusiasm, innovation, professionalism, and an unmatched creative vision for translating each individual client’s style and aesthetic.
Prior to starting Soulflower Design Studio, Emily served in various capacities in the nonprofit realm as a program director and development officer at youth organizations throughout the Bay Area. The skills and insights she learned while working with these groups became the heart (or soul) for her wedding floral + event design company.
Emily is on the board of the Creative Wedding Professionals (Southwest Idaho chapter) and also a past ILEA (International Live Events Association) Chapter Board President and continues to serve the community with ongoing event donations, nonprofit board service. While Daniel continues to thrive with his Home repair and Fabrication business while coaching youth soccer.

Taking into consideration your personal style, color palette, linens, and the event space, we will custom design floral arrangements that are truly unique and a pure reflection of you. From large scale installations to prop fabrication, ambient decor is an important element to the event experience that we can lead from vision to full fruition. Full service wedding florals in San Francisco Bay Area + Sun Valley start $8500 and $6000 in Boise + McCall during peak season May through November.

Looking to achieve the “wow” factor to amaze your guests with an unforgettable experience or freshen up your environment before a photoshoot? We offer hourly styling and design consultations and can provide unique ideas for you, review your concepts and assist with any of your design related questions. Aesthetics are our specialty and we handle all of your design related details from color palette selection, tabletop design, linen & furnishing rentals, lighting design, tenting, dessert displays, escort card displays, floor plans and much more. Full service event design starts at $4000 and partial design & styling services start at $1500. Home plant and floral styling available starting at $1500 for a limited number customers in the Bay Area and Boise.

We employ industry-leading sustainability practices from the start to finish of every project. We are committed to sourcing local and organic flowers and materials whenever possible, up-cycling event leftovers and making post event donations to community organizations that result in tax-deductions for our clients. In addition, we collaborate with New Door Ventures to provide community jobs and mentoring to young people. Lastly, we offer our clients carbon offsetting to reduce the carbon footprint of their events to make a conscious connection to the environment without sacrificing their vision for an amazing event experience.

Where are you located?
We are have studios located in Boise, Idaho and Marin County, California and always love to travel to anywhere in between and beyond! Fun fact: We’ve done weddings in Central and South America.
How do we book you?
Reach out via our contact page and include as much detail as you’d like! From there, we will circle back to let you know our availability and request any inspiration images or Pinterest links and hop on a call to flush out the lovely details of your vision to create your beautiful proposal. And once you’re excited to work with us and secure the date, there is a 50% deposit to make it official!
How much does a wedding florist cost for a wedding?
Well, that depends on many factors, including how many people you have in your wedding party, how much décor you need, how many tables you have and what kinds of blooms you hope to feature. We do work with a wide range of budgets and if we know that you have a fixed, yet realistic budget in advance, can often make design suggestions to help you meet and work within that budget or recommend other floral friends that would be a good fit!
When do I book a florist for a wedding?
We generally book with wedding clients between 6-12 months in advance. We are happy to work with you on a shorter timeline based on our availability. We’ve been known to pull some amazing things together in a short timeframe!
How to choose a wedding floral designer?
It is all about connection and trust! We love to get to know you and your love story to understand the nuances of your special day and bring that to life in our work. If you feel that who we are is good match and you love our work, handing over your trust is our greatest honor. From there, our creativity flows beautifully.
