Colorful Birthday Bash!
If there was ever a reason to celebrate, a joint birthday bash is one of them! This fabulous colorful occasion brought together the happy couple’s families and nearest and dearest friends. The vibrant pops of color from the crepe paper flowers were an event florist's dream! Inspired by the talented planner, Mandy Scott, who wanted to create an elevated garden party design with a twist.
Set in the gorgeous residence of the birthday couple, it was from start to finish adorned with bright flowers and crepe paper blooms. The scale of the oversized blooms was the perfect compliment to the scale of the home and outdoor tent in shapes of poppies and peonies with seasonal favorites like dahlias, ranunculus, garden roses, and pin cushion.
My favorite part was hearing all the stories of the birthday gal dancing the night away in the rain to Big Head Todd who they brought in to surprise her.
That is what life is all about: making memories and savoring the moment!
And the clean up was one for the books – torrential rain, power outages, stranded vehicles and flooded highways…but no doubt we laughed our way through it to a hot meal and cozied up by the fireplace afterwards. Never a dull moment!
