Summer Lovin’

Summer days, the Idaho way

Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky,
is by no means a waste of time.
- John Lubbock

What a summer!

Hard to believe school is almost back in session and September is upon us!  I'm partial to summer fun since I always get to celebrate my birthday in late July.  This year was extra special with a visit from my college friends to soak up the sun (and heat!) and we packed in a great weekend:

  • hiking and backyard barbecuing

  • yoga brunch in the garden with yummy goodness from Whitney Fredin Events

  • river time fun on the Boise Greenbelt

  • and of course, a fun night out on the town to Barbacoa then dancing!

In addition, I loved the 'Better Together Boise' Scavenger hunt hosted by Bliss Events in downtown Boise. I learned so much, soaked up all the cool murals and sights, and discovered a few new eateries. The scavenger hunt concept makes getting to know a place SO fun, and even better when you get to bond with all the participants. We had a great turnout of wedding vendors: Courtney from Ivory and Sage Events, Erin from Dreamer Events, Theresa from Bliss Events, Mallory from Thueson Floral Design, Bernadette from Bramble and Vine Photography, Lynnsey from Lion Lady Photography, and captured by Maija from Maija Photography.

What have you enjoyed this summer? Drop me a line, say hello!
